For years, I watched the same cycle repeat:

For years, I witnessed a troubling pattern: struggling schools, underprepared students, and communities brimming with potential yet lacking direction. This is especially true in the Black community, where the challenges of poverty, broken systems, financial illiteracy, and generational setbacks are all too real.

But here's the crucial insight that often goes unnoticed: the issue isn't solely about the circumstances we face. It's that we've been conditioned to complain more than to seek out and create solutions. We need to shift our focus from lamenting the problems to actively building pathways for change.

I didn’t believe in blaming the system.
